Best breakfast in Two Harbors! Ever since Miller's burned down years ago, Judy's can easily make that claim. Portions are good sized, the service is fast and friendly, and the food is classic "greasy spoon" offerings done right. Don't judge on appearance peeps; there is a reason it is filled with locals! Pro Tip: Get your hash browns scattered, smothered, and covered. (With cheese and onions) Yum!

As a follow up to the Vanilla Bean story, after being ignored at one restaurant in town, we thought we would try another local place. We walked in and waited to be seated. There were two open table but the place was busy. We waited for a hostess or waitress to wave us in or at least tell us we would be taken care of in a minute. Eventually a waitress approached the table directly in front of us and took orders. As she finished I expected her to at least say SOMETHING to us. Instead she turned her back and began to walk away. I politely said excuse me can we...... she simply walked away. I guess they did not want our money. So we left. To sum up the two local places in town treated us so rudely that we made it a point not to spend a dime in Two Harbors and aside from buying some items at the local grocery we did not.

Stopped in during an off time of the day so we were the only ones in the place which made service extra fast. Ordered the taco omelette with smothered and covered hash browns (felt like I was ordering at a Waffle House). Food was excellent! Very down home cafe. A must stop for breakfast if you're in the area!

Charming place. Nice, attentive service, good food, and a great price point. Would come here again if I'm in town.

Great spot for breakfast. We had 14 of us and they were very accommodating. Carla ( don't call me mom, m'am or sir) was superb. Thanks for the experience

Wish I could write a review about the food, but the young waitresses ignored us until we finally just left.

We were coming through two harbors and actually stopped at Betty's Pies, but when we were told there would be a 45 minute wait we opted to keep driving and then stumbled upon this place. What a great misfortune. Betty's pies appeared very commercialized and mass produced, the opposite of this. It's a small town kind of diner/cafe. They meals were good, the service was prompt (immediate seating) and the dessert was awesome. My wife had the apple dumpling which was our favorite.

Judy's Cafe is the epitome of a small town, no frills diner. It has been around for ages and it has not changed a bit; which is a good thing! Every time I visit, it is the same as I remember growing up. Breakfast is served all day, the portions are above average, the prices are below average, the taste is well above average and the service is excellent! You can still get a classic American breakfast for around $6. We make it a point to visit every time we are in the area. They have a seasonal fish fry which serves Walleye vice the usual cheaper Pollock or Cod. My daughter loves their pies. If you are looking for the old school, small town diner...in every sense of the word...then you have to try Judy's! You will not be disappointed!

Good food, small glasses...... On a recent trip north, we were bumming around Two Harbors and found ourselves hungry just after lunch time. We popped into Judy's for a quick lunch. The place at 2pm was PACKED! I've decided it's the kind of place people go in town and more than likely talk about each other. We were seated at the only table that would fit all 6 of us, right near the door. I was watching the people come in and out. They all knew each other! They were coming in just for a piece of pie and coffee! That doesn't happen around here. The server promptly brought menus and explained the specials to us. Most of us ordered sandwiches, I ordered a grilled chicken breast and salad with a Diet Pepsi. The drinks came out in very small glasses, even the pop! It was hot and I was thirsty! That water and pop were gone in no time and I had to wait until after the food was served. My food came and it was decent, nothing out of this world. I will say everyone else ordered fries and I didn't. Good thing, I ate everyone 's leftovers - they were crinkle cuts! Mmmm. There isn't much to choose from, but for the $50 the 6 of spent total on lunch, it wasn't bad. The pie looked awesome. If I go back, fries, coconut cream pie and a DP.

Came here after being in the BWCA for 5 days and cleaned my Mile High Omelet with cheese and onion hashbrowns in 15 minutes. It was perfect and even when I'm not starving, this remains to be my favorite place to get breakfast along the North Shore, and by the way, it serves breakfast all day! Tourist laden? Oh no! This is the place where the locals hang-out. In fact, in the morning, it's jam packed with groups of men who seem to choose to hang out here than the local bar! It's great that this place exists and as far as quality, it varies. Sometimes my breakfast is made perfect and other times it's rushed, soggy and juicy.

I came here years ago and couldn't remember the name until I drove by. Then I made sure we stopped in for breakfast! Locals eat here for the most part, it seems. The service is friendly enough, not stellar, but it is efficient. Mostly it's a great bargain: very cheap, tasty food.

Absolutely delicious greasy-spoon breakfast; we stopped here on our way to Split Rock Lighthouse, and we will definitely be back for all our travels up north. Breakfast is served all day. Everything we had was delicious: perfectly prepared omelets, eggs, and, greatest of all, awesome hash browns. Get the hash browns with onion and cheese; you won't regret it. All-in-all, super-friendly service + dirt-cheap prices (our two meals totaled $12.00 for VERY hearty portions) + lots of nice locals = stellar.

We had a great lunch here while visiting the Two Harbors area for a little getaway. The food was homey and simple and good and the servers were very sweet to us. I had a great french dip sandwich. Small town diners are the best.
